Bal\u00f2 ODV Association has chosen to operate in India<\/b>, where a seemingly insurmountable gap still exists between the population benefiting from the economic boom and those who have no access even to the most basic living standards. In a place where sanitary conditions are still nonexistent, healthcare is a luxury that few can afford, and sending one's children to school is often unimaginable.<\/p>

We are committed to ensuring that the women and children<\/strong>\u00a0we support, as well as all\u00a0<\/span>the people<\/strong>\u00a0we come into contact with in various capacities,<\/span>\u00a0are treated equally<\/strong>\u00a0, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or religion.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Located on the edge of the Pilkhana slum in Calcutta, <\/span>Casa Bal\u00f2<\/a> provides refuge and support to young girls and hosts a tailoring workshop<\/b>.
